The Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds are set to make history next year, according to The Athletic.
Multiple sources told The Athletic on Tuesday that the two Major League Baseball teams will play at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2025, one of NASCAR’s most iconic tracks.
An announcement is expected by MLB commissioner Rob Manfred and Speedway Motorsports CEO Marcus Smith on Friday in Bristol.
Bristol has a seating capacity of nearly 150,000 and has hosted one other sporting event outside of racing with the Tennessee and Virginia Tech college football game in 2016. Over 155,000 fans attended that game, making it the largest crowd to watch an NCAA football game.
Bristol hosts two NASCAR Cup Series races each year.
