The Northeast Georgia Physicians Group is expanding its coverage for family care at its facility in Toccoa, with the addition of a family medical doctor to its staff.
Dr. Charles R. Cosby earned his bachelor's degree from Georgia College and State University at Milledgeville and went on to earn his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee. Dr. Cosby then completed a family medicine residency at Wellstar MCG Health in Augusta.
“There’s something really special about this community that makes it an easy place to care about,” Dr. Cosby said. “And there’s something special about NGPG Toccoa Clinic, too. It feels like family and I’m excited to be a part of it."
When he’s not at work, Dr. Cosby enjoys spending time with his high school sweetheart, who is now his wife, and their two children. He also enjoys hunting and fishing whenever he can get to the woods or out on the lake.
