The City of Lawrenceville is accepting applications for multiple volunteer boards.

The boards are made up of Lawrenceville citizens and there are approximately 45 available positions for 2025 across multiple boards.

The Development Authority has openings and meets monthly as announced.

It serves as a resource to provide economic development services within the city limits.

The Financial Review Citizen Committee also has openings. They meet during the annual budget process to “support transparency with the public.”

The Heritage Trail Medallion Committee, which meets as needed throughout the year to “identify and recommend historically significant individuals from Lawrenceville’s 200-plus years of history,” also has openings.

Hooper-Renwick Legacy Preservation Committee will look to add members. They meet quarterly as announced to support preserving the historic Hooper-Renwick school, Gwinnett’s only African-American public school for decades.

The Lawrenceville Arts Commission, Lawrenceville Housing Authority, the Planning Commission, the ReCAST Advisory Board, and the Stormwater Authority also have openings with more details at the link below.
Applications can be found at https://lville.city/board-app and will run until Sept. 27 at 5 p.m.
