SUGAR HILL, Ga. – Darron Parry had four rushing touchdowns as North Forsyth held off a furious comeback from Lanier, 33-20, Friday night.
Leading 3-0, Parry scored with under a minute left in the first quarter from five yards out to take a 10-0 lead. After Austin Chavarria hit another field goal to push the lead to 13-0, Parry punched it in from a yard out two minutes later for his second score of the night.
Four minutes later, it was deja vu as Parry went in from a yard out to go up 20-0. He scored his final touchdown of the night midway through the fourth quarter to take a 33-7 win. Dacula scored all 20 of their points in the fourth quarter, but ran out of time for the Raiders to pick up the win.
Parry finished the night with 101 rushing yards on 24 carries.
The Raiders will be off next week before hosting South Forsyth in two weeks.
