The Lumpkin County Health Department will host a drive-thru flu vaccine clinic on Sept. 24.
District 2 Public Health said the event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 60 Mechanicsville Road in Dahlonega.
There will be a limited supply of free vaccines but most major insurance plans are accepted including Tricare.
A food truck from Mutt and Jeff’s Smokehouse will be at the event starting at 11 a.m.
The vaccines are for people ages 6 months and up.
