A home in Habersham County suffered severe damage after a Monday fire.
Units were dispatched just after midnight on Monday to a reported fire on Lovelace Road off Ben T. Huiet Highway.
The caller told Habersham E-911 dispatchers that the fire was coming out the roof and chimney.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames just after 1 a.m. and began overhaul operations.
The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the three adults who lived at the residence.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
