Officials with the City of Gainesville announced Monday that Brenau Ave. will be closed to traffic in the following days.
The roadway will be closed from Green St, NE to Bradford St. The closure will begin on Jan. 28 and last until Feb. 2.
The closure is due to stormwater and waterline utility work.
Those traveling in the area are urged to drive carefully, follow all detour signs, and watch for construction workers, flaggers and equipment during this time.
Brenau Ave. will close on Jan. 28 for maintenance and re-open on Feb. 2.
