LEXINGTON, Ga. — The Commerce girls will get the 2025 basketball playoffs started on Saturday for northeast Georgia area teams.
The Lady Tigers will open the Region 8-A Division tournament against host Oglethorpe County at 6 p.m. on Saturday in the play-in game.
The seventh-seeded Lady Tigers (6-19) were swept by the Lady Patriots (5-16) during the regular season.
The winner will stay alive and take on No. 3 seed Athens Academy at 7 p.m. on Monday at Piedmont College.
The rest of the 8-A D1 tournament shifts to Piedmont College on Monday, ending with the finals on Friday.
