A man was arrested and deported in Towns County in late January after authorities responded to a disturbance call on Natures Way.
The Towns County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post Tuesday deputies responded to a residence on Jan. 23. During that incident, Faustina Diaz-Perez, 33, was taken into custody on charges of misdemeanor simple battery and three counts of felony obstruction of law enforcement. The post said Diaz-Perez was an undocumented immigrant.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement was contacted in the case and a hold was placed on Diaz-Perez. ICE agents reportedly picked up Diaz-Perez on Feb. 15 for deportation.

Faustina Diaz-Perez, 33, was arrested in Towns County on Jan. 23, 2025.
