Event Details: Join the City of Cumming, Keep Forsyth County Beautiful, UGA Extension Services, and the Georgia Forestry Commission as we present the 6th Annual Community Arbor Day Celebration! Event Details: The Sugar Hill Arts Commission invites you to experience the “Bits and Pieces” Art Exhibition by Gerald E. Burch at the Sugar Hill Art Gallery. The artist will read a small collection of his poems during the reception on Friday, February 21, at 6 p.m. Now on display until March 10. The Sugar Hill Art Gallery at 5010 W. Event Name: Fasching (German Mardi Gras), Helen

Event Details: Karneval, Fastnacht, Mardi gras, Fasching.. all of these refer to the season of celebration leading up to Ash Wednesday! On Friday, February 21 join the party at Heidelberg Restaurant. On Saturday, there’s a Faschingsverein Helen Sidewalk and Tubing Parade and Party at the Helendorf River Inn. The sidewalk parade will begin at 1 p.m. Those that wish to tube down the river can do so for free (first 100 tubers!). That evening a Fasching party will include live music and fun dancing.
