The Lakeview girls soccer team kicked off region play with an impressive 8-2 victory over Bethlehem Christian on Tuesday.
A dominant first half saw Lakeview take a 4-0 lead, fueled by two goals from Reece Syfan and one each from Sadie Leek and Addison Farmer.
Leek and Syfan continued their scoring in the second half, each securing hat tricks, while Bianca Collins added a goal to round out the offensive showcase. Jayci Purdy, Kendall Mathis, and Leek each contributed with assists in the win.
Lakeview will look to build on this momentum in their next region matchup.

The Chestatee boys (7-2, 2-1 Region 6-3A) converted a penalty kick in the 78th minute to seal the win over Dawson County (3-5, 2-2 Region 6-3A) on the road Tuesday.
Isaiah Diaz scored in the 24th minute on a shot from the left side that found the upper right corner. He also converted on a penalty kick in the 78th minute to secure the win.
