Nine displaced in Buford fire Wednesday morning

Nine people were displaced during a mobile home fire that spread to neighboring structures early Wednesday morning. 
 
Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 5700 block of Willow Way in Buford for the fire with multiple exposures just after 12 a.m. When crews arrived on scene, they discovered that the initial fire had reached a second mobile home. 
 
Crews reportedly evacuated the surrounding homes to ensure the safety of all occupants. As a result of the blaze, the two homes were considered a total loss while an additional two homes nearby suffered exterior damage. Multiple vehicles were also impacted in the fire, according to a release from HCFR. 
 
 No one was injured in the incident. The American Red Cross was called to assist the nine people that were displaced. 
 
The Hall County Fire Marshal's Office has determined the fire to be "accidental" in cause, due to the use of a fire pit in the area just hours earlier. Officials urge residents to remember that if conducting any recreational burning, to please follow all guidelines as outlined by the county's burn regulations listed on the Hall Couty official website.
Two mobile homes were destroyed following and early Wednesday morning fire in Buford.
The American Red Cross was called to assist nine people who were displaced as a result from the fire.
