An early morning trailer fire in Lilburn left two people dead Saturday.

Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services said crews responded to a recreational trailer  in the woods behind the 4100 block of Bent Willow Drive just after 6 a.m. A 911 caller had advised that they could see the fire across the lake and heard an explosion. The caller also said that a person lived in the trailer.

Upon arrival, crews extinguished the flames and discovered the deceased adults during a primary and secondary search of the building. Their names were not released.

The trailer sustained heavy damage and the cause remains under investigation.
