A Flowery Branch man was arrested on Monday after he allegedly injured two boys during an argument at a home on Green Oak Ridge.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said an Oakwood Police Officer detained Vinson S. Pierre, 20, after he drove one of the injured boys to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton.

Deputies met with the nine-year-old victim and learned he received stitches for a cut to his head.

During the investigation, deputies discovered that Pierre also injured an 8-year-old boy. They drove to the home where the incident took place and saw that the second victim had “suspicious marks” on his legs.

Pierre allegedly hit the nine-year-old with a phone charger cable and pushed him into a couch, which caused the boy to hit his head. He also reportedly pushed the eight-year-old boy down the stairs of the home and hit the boy on the legs with an unknown object.

Pierre was taken to the Hall County Jail on charges of first-degree child cruelty and misdemeanor battery under the Family Violence Act.

He is being held without bond.
