Region 6-3A will be center stage again, with North Hall and Pickens still tied for first with two games left and Dawson County and Lumpkin County battling for the final guaranteed playoff spot on Thursday.
And Gainesville will continue its series with Johns Creek in a battle for second place in Region 7-5A.
The Class 3A third-ranked Trojans (20-6, 16-3 Region 6-3A) play host to Chestatee (6-22, 5-14 Region 6-3A) with their magic number at 2 to clinch the region title. No. 4 Pickens (26-4, 16-3 Region 6-3A) plays host to GAC (16-9, 13-6 Region 6-3A) with its magic number also at two. However, North Hall owns the head-to-head tiebreaker in the event of a tie at the end of the season.
Lumpkin County (17-11, 10-9 Region 6-3A), which has won seven straight games, can lock down the final playoff spot with a win on the road against Dawson County (14-14, 9-10 Region 6-3A) in Dawsonville on Thursday.
Meanwhile, in Region 7-5A, Gainesville (12-15, 10-6 Region 7-5A) will try to shake a tough loss on Wednesday to Johns Creek (18-7, 11-5 Region 7-5A) and even its series at Ivey-Watson Field. The Red Elephants have clinched a playoff spot but can still grab a top two seed if they can knock off the Gladiators in their final two games.
