Gwinnett County Police detectives are investigating a shooting that left one male dead in Snellville on Saturday night.
Officers assigned to the Bay Creek Precinct responded at around 5:00 p.m. to Bryant Drive in reference to a shooting.
Once they arrived at the scene they found one male was deceased near a vehicle.
The Homicide Unit, Crime Scene Investigation Unit and Medical Examiners Office then responded to the scene.
The investigation is still active and the victim's name is being withheld until the next of kin can be notified.
The motive for the incident is unknown and no arrests have been made.
