A residential fire early Sunday morning destroyed a home in the 2200 block of Athens Highway.
According to Hall County Fire Rescue, crews responded at around 1 a.m. and arrived to find a single-story home fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were able to knock down the flames quickly and remained on site to extinguish any hot spots.
The home is considered a total loss. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains unknown and is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
