A Gainesville man was arrested last week after authorities said they found him in possession of hundreds of images of child pornography.
A release from the Hall County Sheriff's Office said the investigation into Lorin Jake Millwood, age 24, started in December of 2024 after authorities received several cybertips through social media. Days after the tips were received, investigators searched Millwood's home on Bluffton Drive, just off of Athens Highway.
"Investigators seized multiple electronic devices from Millwood's person and home," the sheriff's office said. "Forensic processing of the devices uncovered 400 photographs and videos of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct."
Investigators also said Millwood shared four of those images.
Millwood now faces 404 total felony charges, including sexual exploitation of a minor. As of Monday afternoon, he remained in the Hall County Jail without bond.
The sheriff's office said none of the victims in the images are believed to be local.
