Hall Co. School District, AHA come to terms over school prayer lawsuit
Hall County School System Superintendent Will Schofield announced Monday morning that a lawsuit filed against the school system by the Washington-based American Humanist Association over prayer in the county school system has been dismissed.

Two-A-Days: Raiders going back to the future in 2015
Probably no team in northeast Georgia was hit harder by injury in 2014 than North Forsyth. The Raiders had four players suffer season-ending ACL tears and at one point played 28 underclassmen that were second-string or lower on the depth chart.

Playing in the rough-and-tumble and fast-paced Region 8-A, Lakeview Academy switched to a spread offense midway through last season. With a full off-season to work out the kinks, Lions’ 10th-year coach Matthew Gruhn is hoping the upgrade in tempo will also translate into renewed interest and wins for the program.
