ATLANTA - Atlanta Hawks forward Toni Kukoc is expected to miss six to eight weeks after fracturing his right wrist in a 111-87 loss at Charlotte.
Kukoc fell under the basket with about four minutes to play. An X-ray revealed a clean fracture of the navicular bone.
``One good thing, it was the right one,'' said Kukoc, who is left-handed. ``That's all I can say good for it. I didn't even get a foul call on the play.''
Kukoc is averaging 9.4 points and shooting .423 this season. He has already missed five games because of injury. He was acquired Feb. 22 with Theo Ratliff, Nazr Mohammed and Pepe Sanchez in a deal that sent Dikembe Mutombo and Roshown McLeod to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Kukoc won three NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls before management broke up the team.
