Kidnap victim is 16

GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Police say the victim of an apparent kidnapping that occurred in southern Hall County Sunday February 10, is a 16-year-old girl.

She was found early Monday at the end of Hope Road off Atlanta Highway.

Police Chief Frank Hooper would not say if the girl had been harmed.

Hooper says police found her after getting a call that she was on Hope Road.

He says the girl was apparently kidnapped earlier this month in the South Hall area.

The Hall County Sheriff's Department has joined the investigation.
