SPOST talks set

GAINESVILLE - Negotiations begin Wednesday aimed at finding a way to divvy-up Local Option Sales Tax monies in Hall County.

Hall County Commissioners and representatives of the municipalities in the county will be involved in the discussions.

Such negotiations are necessary periodically and the goal is a formula agreeable to everyone on how to allocate the SPLOST money among the county government and the municipalities.

The first session is at 4:00 Tuesday afternoon at the Gainesville Civic Center.
