GAINESVILLE - A truck driver from Louisana has been sentenced to three years in prison in connection with a fatal traffic accident near Gainesville in 2000.
Rodney Wayne George was convicted February 15 of second-degree vehicular homicide in the death of Wayne Strickland of Jefferson in a wreck on Athens Highway.
He was sentenced Friday in Hall County Superior Court.
