Russian poultry ban impact still being felt

ATLANTA - The Georgia poultry industry continues feel the impact of the six-week Russian chicken import ban - which was lifted Monday.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Thursday that chicken leg quarters, the cheapest cut of chicken and the cut-of-choice in Russia, are now selling for as little as 29 cents a pound in some supermarkets.
