Sewer service moratorium in Maysville

MAYSVILLE - A six-month moratorium has been imposed by the Maysville City Council on certain requests for sewer service.

City officials say the action is necessary because the Maysville wastewater treatment plant is nearing capacity.

The moratorium applies to requests for service that would require more than 10,000 gallons a day of capacity.
