Tech-Georgia game time set

ATLANTA--The Georgia Tech-Georgia football game will kick off at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field in Atlanta.

The announcement was made Sunday afternoon by Allison George of the Georgia Tech Sports Information Department.

The game will be televised on ABC-TV which had been contemplating a prime time telecast. According to reports last week, moving the game to prime time, however, hinged on Tech beating Virginia Saturday. However, the Yellow Jackets (6-5, 4-4 ACC)lost, 29-17.

Georgia (9-2, 6-2 SEC) beat Kentucky 30-10.
