Jail main focus of HCC meeting

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County commission plans a called meeting Wednesday to discuss jail expansion and courthouse renovation.

The meeting - which comes on the heels of discussion of the projects at a commission work session Monday - will be held at 3:30 at the Hall County Government and Education Building on Green Street.

Commissioners have before them several proposals for adding jail space and have discussed putting renovation of the old courthouse on hold because of budget constraints.
