GAINESVILLE - The immediate past-senior pastor of First Baptist Church on Green Street in Gainesville is moving to Birmingham, Alabama, August 14. <br>

Dr. John Lee Taylor said Tuesday he and his wife, Dolores, are making the move to be closer to family members. <br>
<br>
Dr. Tayor was at First Baptist for ten years and has served four churches in north Georgia over the past six years as interim pastor.<br>
<br>
He says the 16 years he has spent in Gainesville is the longest he's lived in one place since his childhood.<br>
