MACON - The hope of an unbeaten season came to a crashing halt for the Riverside Military Academy football team Friday night.
Windsor Academy beat Riverside 14-7 to put a halt a four-game winning streak to start the year.
The Eagles had a chance to tie the game at the end but time ran out them at the Windsor 8 when they couldn't get another play off after completing a long pass over the middle.
Coach Doug Dixon knew it would a challenge but said they gave Windsor ((2-4) a lot of help.
"We didn't play anywhere as good as we did the last few games," Dixon said. "we had a chance at the end but it just didn't work out. We'll have to get better to win next week."
Riverside will play host to john Milledge Academy next week.
