GAINESVILLE - Can anyone slow down the Gainesville Red Elephants football team?
Chestatee got its shot Friday night at Bobby Gruhn Field and was treated like everyone else in a 63-7 rout.
Gainesville (4-0, 4-0) came in averaging 56 points a game while giving up just 6.5 points.
Adrian Goss and Joseph Meheffey each scored two touchdowns. Cedric Langston and John Castleberry scored one each.
Gainesville had the potential for a letdown with a showdown against fellow unbeaten Johnson next week.
Chestatee (0-3, 0-3) got its only score late in the game on a pass from Miles Hicks to Jack Daigle.
The War Eagles will play host to unbeaten North Hall next week. It will complete a three-week nightmare schedule of playing Johnson, gainesville and North Hall back-to-back-to-back.
