FLOWERY BRANCH - North Hall scratched one run and made it stand up in a 1-0 win over Flowery Branch Thursday in Region 7-AAA softball action.<br>

Caroline Bower knocked in the only run and Haley Bower struck out 10 to earn the win for the Trojans.<br>

Both teams will open play Friday in the Lanier Point Fast-Pitch Invitational.<br>

North Hall will play White County and Flowery Branch will play Habersham Central.
