Habersham school redistricting hearings set

CLARKESVILLE - Habersham County school officials are planning public hearings starting Tuesday on school redistricting.

The hearings are necessary because of the planned opening of a new elementary school next fall.

School officials say they need to make decisions about how school districts should be changed to relieve school crowding and plan for future growth.

Hearings will be held at each school this month with the first set for Tuesday at 7 o'clock at Woodville elementary.
