ATLANTA - The jobless rate in Hall County is down almost half-a-percent. <br>

The state Labor Department reported Wednesday morning that the rate declined four-tenths of a percent over the past month to 2.8 percent. <br>
<br>
A year ago, it was 3.7 percent.<br>
<br>
The unemployment rate is also down in each of the counties in the Georgia Mountains Region, which includes Hall.<br>
<br>
It is also down four-tenths of a percent in White and Stephens counties and is down .3 in Banks; .5 percent in Barrow; .2 in Dawson, Towns, Union and Habersham counties; .3 in Forsyth and Jackson; and, .1 percent in Lumpkin County.
