COMMERCE - Plans are in the works for a major retail/office development near Commerce.
The would-be developers - Plansouth Inc. of Hoschton - have filed for a rezoning of a 33-acre tract at Georgia Highway 98 and Old Bold Spring School Road which is near I-85.
The 300,000-square-foot, $30 million project would include a supermarket, restaurants, and theater - among other things.
It would be slated for completion in 2006.
