'Party for the President' planned

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Young Republicans is hosting a "Party for the President" next week in Gainesville.

The event is described by organizers as a "national, grass-roots effort" designed to "connect citizens in a show of support for the President as well as encourage civic political involvement."

The Gainesville gathering - which is one of more than 3,300 planned next Thursday around the country- will be held at 7 p.m. downtown at the Collegiate Grill
