Hall commission budget hearings set

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Board of Commissioners will conduct annual budget hearings next week.

All elected and appointed officials have already been instructed by the commission to cut their departmental budgets for FY 2005 by four percent from current levels.

Three days of hearings will be conducted 8:30 a.m.-12 noon, Monday-Wednesday, at the Hall County Government & Educaiton Building on Green Street.

The Gainesville City Council began its budget-writing process this week.
