GAINESVILLE - With the primary season now officially over in Georgia, the two major political parties are gearing up for the November General Election - and have special events planned Thursday in Gainesville.
Both will host ribbon-cuttings and receptions at election year headquarters.
The Hall County Republican Party will kick things off with a reception from noon until 2:00 and a ribbon-cutting at 12:30 at 210 West Academy Street.
Then, at 6:00, Hall County Democrats will host a ribbon-cutting and candidates' reception as they open their office at 1097 Athens Street.
