Record low in Gainesville

UNDATED - Gainesville was one of at least four Georgia cities where record lows were set Sunday.

The National Weather Service says the 58 that was recorded in Gainesville Sunday morning broke the previous record of 59 which was set in 1948.

Record lows were also recorded Sunday in Macon - 56; Atlanta - 61; and Athens - 57.
