Habersham Co. renews contract with hospital for ambulance service

CLARKESVILLE - Habersham County is renewing its contract for operation of the county ambulance service.

The county commission approved a contract that calls continued monthly payments by the county as well as housing for the ambulance service.

The county will also still be responsible for the cost of gasoline and repairs for ambulances.

The issue had been tabled May 16 by the Habersham commission.
