GAINESVILLE - Much cooler weather is moving into northeast Georgia, bringing with it a return to near-normal temperatures and a chance of frost in some places.
A cold front was moving through early Thursday, touching off a few showers.
Temperatures in Gainesville Thursday are expected to reach only into the mid 60s, compared to near 80-degree readings in recent days. The low Friday morning is expected to be around 32.
The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for four northeast Georgia counties: Stephens, Franklin, Hart and Elbert.
