Barrow commissioners vote down industrial park

WINDER - Barrow County commissioners recently voted against a proposed industrial park with office and warehouse space that would be built among residential neighborhoods near Braselton. <br> <br> Commissioners denied a request to rezone 92 acres of land along Georgia Highway 124 near I-85, according to the Norton Agency&#39;s Native Intelligence Market Watch. <br> <br> Dewey C. White of Winder sought to rezone the property for industrial use and change Barrow County&#39;s land-use plan to allow him to build 1.5 million square feet of office and warehouse space and at least 90,000 square feet of mini-warehouses on the site.<br> <br>
