GAINESVILLE - The man accused of stabbing two other men at a birthday party in Gainesville Saturday has been freed on $20,000 bond.

James Walburg is charged with aggravated assault and was released from the Hall County Detention Center about 9:00 Monday night.

The incident occurred at the American Legion on Riverside Drive and was apparently the result of a two-year dispute between Walburg and one of the victims, Jesse Brock, according to Gainesville Police.

Meanwhile, Brock and Kevin Sims remained hospitalized at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and both remained in satisfactory condition.

Police say Sims was stabbed while apparently trying to break up a fight between Brock and Walburg.
