Firemen plan 'run for kids'

GAINESVILLE - Hall County firefighters plan to run nearly 100 miles through the county Saturday in the first Hall County Firefighters&#39; Run for Kids.<br> <br> Steve Durling is one of four firefighters who plan to try to run the entire distance. The others are Matt Tumlin, Jason Catherwood, and Ed Ryan. Durling said Monday about 20 other firefighters plan to run part of he route.<br> <br> He said the run will start at 2:00 a.m. Saturday at Station #4 on McEver Road. The route they will take them by all 17 city and county fire stations.<br> <br> They plan for the run to end about 20 hours later where it started - at station four.<br> <br> They hope to raise $25,000 for the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation.<br> <br> <br> <br> <br>
