One person ejected from vehicle in Gainesville wreck

GAINESVILLE - A two car head on collision sent three people to the hospital Wednesday afternoon in front of the Gainesville State Patrol Post.

Trooper J.E. Presley said a small SUV was southbound around 4:00 p.m. when it collided with a northbound four door sedan ejecting one of the victims, "For whatever reason the CRV [SUV] got off the shoulder of the road corrected to get back on, over corrected, came across into the northbound lane of traffic."

Two people in the SUV and the driver of the sedan were sent to the hospital. Two people sitting in the rear of the SUV escaped injury.

"One of the passengers was ejected from the CRV, the front seat passenger was taken to the hospital," Presley said.
