Leland Rd wreck injures several; DUI suspect in custody

GAINESVILLE - A motorist is in custody for possibly driving under the influence in a two vehicle wreck on Leland Road Friday afternoon.

Leland Road off Calvary Church Road was closed while State Troopers and Hall County Sheriff's Deputies investigated the collision between a car and a truck. It happened in a curve a short distance from Calvary Church Road.

Trooper Chris Matthews says there were several injuries, "A four year old was life flighted out with internal injuries, there's no visible injuries on her, the driver has some visible injuries in the passenger car, and the pick-up truck driver has some facial injuries and then the passenger has a serious cut on his leg."

Two life flight helicopters responded to the wreck.
