Sewer agreement signed

BRASELTON - The mayors of Braselton and Oakwood signed the sewer service agreement Thursday.

It was approved by each city council on Monday and will allow Oakwood to provide sewer service in designated areas of South Hall. Oakwood Mayor Lamar Scroggs calls it one of the most important things ever to be considered by the Oakwood City Council.

Braselton Mayor Pat Graham says the agreement means providing the service will be environmentally beneficial and much more cost effective.

The mayors signed the agreement during a ceremony at the Braselton Police & Municipal Court Center.
