Dawson gets new chief registrar, elections chief

DAWSONVILLE - Hall is not the only northeast Georgia county that will have a new chief registrar and elections director for the next election cycle.<br> <br> Dawson County&#39;s Jeannine McGee is retiring and will be replaced a four-year employee of the office, Glenda Ferguson.<br> <br> McGee has served 16 years as Dawson County&#39;s elections director and chief registrar.<br> <br> Hall County&#39;s Anne Phillips Lea is also retiring in a few weeks and the search for her replacement is expected to begin anyday now.<br>
