Weekend delays expected on Georgia 400

ATLANTA - Consider yourself warned: expect massive delays on Georgia 400 Friday night and all day Saturday because of some road work.

The Georgia Department of Transportation crews will be doing some restriping as the final step to opening new northbound lanes between Holcomb Bridge Road and Windward Parkway.

Work crews will close lanes, shift traffic and at times, stop traffic.

The new lanes on the six-mile stretch from Holcomb Bridge to Windward should be open Monday morning.
