BUFORD - Another 150 acres in South Hall are now a part of Buford.<br>

The property is in the Holiday Road, Mt. Salem Road and Carter Road areas and is earmarked for 249 new homes, according to a report in today's Gwinnett Daily Post.<br>

The Buford City Council approved the annexations Monday night.<br>

According to the Post, an 83-home gated community with some commercial development is planned on the 43-acre Holiday Road tract; 89 houses and a commercial component are planned for 37 acres at Atlanta Highway and Mt. Salem Road; and, 32 acres on Carter Road will be used for 77 homes.
