Cumming-Forsyth County chamber changing its 'look'

By by Ken Stanford
CUMMING - The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce has chosen Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide for its campaign to renew its brand, including a new logo, graphic identity and image consultation.

"We are amidst a new chapter of growth, ideas and prosperity in Cumming and Forsyth County," said Chamber President and CEO James McCoy. "Ogilvy's expertise and reputation in brand and image development are legendary, and we're confident in their ability to help us design and execute a brand, look and logo that communicates our community's forward momentum," he continued.

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Atlanta's Senior Vice President Frank Singleton is a Georgia native and has been a Cumming resident since 1996. "A very marketable inventory of community values, business leadership and lifestyle attributes drives our county's progress. It's quite simply a great place to live, work, grow a business and raise a family. That's the Chamber's brand in a nutshell, and we're proud to be able to play a role in telling that story."

The Ogilvy team has already begun the process of analyzing recent member surveys and research from other communities with similar demographics and attributes. Chamber Director of Communications and Marketing Kris Carroll says she expects to unveil the organization's renewed brand image sometime this spring.
